The 400 hectare park (larger than Central Park in New York) has a square footprint, the main paths are in the shape of a Buddhist mandala, with a larger than life statue of the striding Buddha in the center in the pose of "stopping the sandalwood statue". Four stations distributed over the park illustrate the four most important moments in the life of the founder of the religion. The park is surrounded by a moat and is criss-crossed by ponds and canals with small bridges. It is located just outside the city limits of Bangkok. From there a wide boulevard - Thanon Utthayan - with decorative lanterns leads to the Phutthamonthon. A good 35 km east of Nakhon Pathom, on national roads 4 and 338.
- Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo. Shows with crocodiles and elephants, their rearing and training is shown. Directly on the national road 4; 30 km east of Nakhon Pathom, 9 km west of the Bangkok city limits.
- rose Garden (Rose garden; Suan Sam Phran). On the banks of the Tha Chin River, also in the Sam Phran district, shows traditional Siamese amusements and games, such as cockfighting, folk dances, sword fights and Buddhist ceremonies. Directly on the national road 4; 28 km east of Nakhon Pathom, 11 km west of the Bangkok city limits.
- 1 Wat Rai Khing. Buddhist temple in Amphoe Sam Phran, on the banks of the Mae Nam Chaisi; from the time of King Mongkut (Rama IV.) with an important Buddha statue. 1.8 km off the national road 4; 29 km east of Nakhon Pathom, 10 km southwest of Phutthamonthon.
