  • Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park. Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park includes the ruins of the ancient border town of Kamphaeng Phet (Diamond Wall), which was known as Cha Kang Rao City during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Kamphaeng Phet was next to the capital Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai one of the three big cities of the Sukhothai kingdom, which had its heyday in the 13th to 15th centuries. On December 12, 1991, the park, along with similar parks in Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai, was declared a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Khlong Lan waterfalls. In the national park of the same name (approx. 60 km southwest of the provincial capital; accessible via road no. 1117; “Khlong Lan” or “Khlong Lan National Park” is also signposted in Latin script from National Road 1 / Asian Highway).

    Phra Ruang hot springs (Bo Nam Phu Ron Phra Ruang; Phra Ruang Hot Springs), Tambon Lan Dokmai (approx. 25 km north of the provincial capital. No accessibility by public transport. * From Kamphaeng Phet (town): either via the 101 national road towards Sukhothai, after 18 km turn left towards Ban Tha Mai Daeng (Phra Ruang Hot Springs are signposted in Thai and English), follow the road for a good 10 km to the hot springs ; or via road no. 3002 (Thanon Thesa 2) towards the police station, after 20 km in Lan Dokmai turn right towards Phra Ruang Hot Springs (signposted in Thai and English), follow the road 5 km to the hot springs. * From the national road 1 / Asia Highway Bangkok – Chiang Mai: in Ban Ko Rak Siat (approx. 20 km after the Kamphaeng Phet junction) take the U-turn, drive back 300 meters, turn left after the school and the pedestrian overpass, Hot springs are only signposted in Thai (บ่อ น้ำพุ ร้อน พระร่วง 12 กม.); After 3.7 km turn right at the end of the street (river bank), after 2.5 km turn right on the embankment road, cross the bridge over the river, follow the road for 5 km to the hot springs).
