- Khao Phra Wihan National Park - Preah Vihear, the well-known temple complex of the Khmer, is located in the border area between Thailand and Cambodia and gave the national park its name. However, access to the temple itself has not been possible since the Thai-Cambodian border conflict. There is also a warning against traveling to the area.

Wat Pa Maha Chedi, "Temple of a Million Bottles"
- Prasat Ban Prasat. (Or Prasat Huai Thap Than), Khmer temple complex near Huai Thap Than, approx. 40 km west of the provincial capital, on the border with Surin Province. 9 km north of Huai Thap Than Railway Station (Sisaket – Surin Railway) and National Road No. 226 (Surin – Sisaket Road).
- Wat Pa Maha Chedi. (Or Wat Lan Khuat, "Temple of a Million Bottles"). Unique Buddhist temple built from thousands (supposedly a million) empty beer bottles. In Khun Han, 65 km south of the provincial capital; about 10 km off the national road No. 24 (Chok Chai – Det Udom road).
