Occitania (Pyrenees-Mediterranean; French Occitanie, Pyrénées-Méditerranée) is one of the 13 administrative regions in metropolitan France. It is located in the south of France and consists of the departments Ariège, Aude, Aveyron, Gard, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Herault, Lot, Lozère, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Camouflage and Tarn-et-Garonne. For the purposes of this travel guide, it is divided into two travel regions:
