Rawicz (German: Rawitsch) is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Greater Poland. The city lies between the Lissa Lake District and the Militsch Lakes in the south of the historical region Greater Poland in the Poznan country on the border to Lower Silesia. The city had one of the most beautiful synagogues in Poland until 1941.
