Remseck am Neckar is a city in Neckar basin and lies at the mouth of the Rems on both sides of the Neckars.

Remseck am Neckar was first created in 1975 under the name Aldingen am Neckar in the case of a community reform through the amalgamation of the formerly independent communities Aldingen, Hochberg, Hochdorf, Neckargröningen and Neckarrems. A part of the settlement was added in 1993 Pattonville, which was founded by the Americans in 1954 as a housing estate for members of the US Army. Remseck was the name of a castle from the 15th century, it stood near the mouth of the Rems, in its place the castle of the same name was built in 1842, which is used privately. In 1977 the city was renamed after the castle.
