Travel motifs

  • Travelers in the Middle Oder / East Brandenburg / Berlin area can go shopping in Słubice, because a lot is cheaper here than in Germany. This also applies to hospitality and accommodation.

  • The neighboring city Frankfurt (Oder) Although it is more attractive than Słubice, the connecting bridge is one of the most important attractions of both cities in terms of contemporary history.

Tourist Attractions

activities

shop

A large part of Słubice lives from Germans who come from neighboring cities to shop cheaply. Cheap cigarettes, gasoline, fireworks and alcohol are advertised all over the city.

In the east of the city there is a large market where you can get almost anything.

Many retailers take the euro at the same rate as the local exchange offices. Often they have little change in zloty, which makes it difficult to get rid of their surplus local currency. If you pay your zloty at the ATM (ATM) does not suffer any loss when exchanging back in the exchange offices!

kitchen

There are some inexpensive restaurants in the city center. There is something for every taste here, almost always cheaper than next door in Frankfurt (Oder).

There is a large market on the eastern outskirts of the city, with numerous snack bars offering very inexpensive dining options.

There are some cozy pubs and restaurants in the city center.
