background

Kerns Max House

Stutensee is a city in the region Hardtwald and Bruhrain. The town Stutensee was created in the course of the community reform around 1975 from the formerly independent communities 1 Blankenloch (with district 2 Büchig), 3 Friedrichstal, 4 Spöck and 5 Staff location. The name of the city is derived from the hunting lodge built in 1749 Stutensee the Margrave of Baden, which is roughly the focus between these communities in a landscape park. The city's administration is based in the largest district, Blankenloch. Stutensee has been a major district town since 1998.

Stutensee borders the city Karlsruhe. Other neighbors are the municipalities Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Linkenheim-Hochstetten, Graben-Neudorf, Karlsdorf-Neuthard and Weingarten (Baden).
