The region Hardtwald and Bruhrain is in the northwest of Baden-Wuerttemberg in the Baden Rhine Plain.

The forest area in the Baden Rhine Plain around Karlsruhe is called Hardtwald denotes, it extends from Rastatt above Karlsruhe north up Graben-Neudorf, the name can often be found until shortly before Mannheim.
