Trassenheide is a traditional Baltic seaside resort in the northwest of the island Usedom. In the vicinity of the Baltic Sea resort Zinnowitz Trassenheide benefits from the infrastructure of the large seaside resort and the wide sandy beach that stretches between Karlshagen and Swinoujscie extends.

By car
you can easily reach Trassenheide via the B111 (from Wolgast). To do this, turn at the junction Banemin in a northerly direction Peenemünde on the L264.

As a result, bizarre ice formations form on the beach, which soon reach the end of the groynes (Trassenheide and Karlshagen have a beach without groynes).
