The seaside resort Bansin is as a district of the municipality Heringsdorf the westernmost of the three imperial baths on the island Usedom in the district of Ostvorpommern, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The neighboring towns are Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck.

By car and the Usedomer Bäderbahn. The Usedomer Bäderbahn of Stralsund coming runs every hour until Swinoujscie (Świnoujście Centrum) in Poland. The 1 Bansin train station is about 2 km south of the town from the coast.

- That is on the Saturday after Ascension Day Grand Schlemm. From the pier in Ahlbeck you can hike a 10 course menu. From Ahlbeck to Bansin, right on the beach there are 10 catering stations from the island's top chefs. The ticket costs 189 € (2017).
