Park

  • 2 Multi-storey car park Kreuzstrasse - Centrally located in the village with 224 parking spaces. From here it is only a 200 m walk to the entrance of the Triberg waterfalls. 2 parking spaces are the world's first "men's parking spaces".
Keyword "men's parking spaces:" Due to the narrow valley location in Triberg, it was not possible to create a large, ground-level car park for the many day visitors. The "Kreuzstrasse" car park is being built on an industrial wasteland in the city center. This multi-storey car park attracted national and international attention in August 2012, as "men's parking spaces" were set up at two difficult parking spaces in the building. This was followed by a partly controversial reporting and discussion of this measure, which brought Triberg a lot of free advertising. Now the "men's parking spaces" are even a stop on the city tours through Triberg. For more detailed information, see Wikipedia article "w: de: Men's parking lot (Triberg)".
The Männparkplätz are located on the sloping northeast corner of the parking garage (one on the 1st and one on the 2nd floor).
