At the foot of the Zahmer Kaiser Mountains lies the town of Walchsee - an ideal family ski area in winter and one of the most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in Tyrol. In summer the Walchsee of the same name attracts as one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol. The area is well developed by hiking and biking trails. Numerous alpine pastures and huts invite you to stop.

By plane
The nearest major international airport is that Munich Airport(IATA: MUC), 140 km, approx. One and a half hours by car). Other airports that can be reached quickly are the Salzburg Airport
(IATA: SZG), 80 km, just under an hour's drive, the second largest airport in Austria) and the Innsbruck airport
(IATA: INN), 100 km, a good hour's drive).
By train
