Baiersbronn is a well-known holiday community in Northern Black Forest. The districts of the community are in the upper Murgtal at a height of approx. 500 m. The wooded heights of the Black Forest invite you to relax; a considerable part of them are in the Black Forest National Park.

Since the municipal reform in 1975, the municipality of Baiersbronn has consisted of the suburbs of Baiersbronn, Friedrichstal, Huzenbach, Klosterreichenbach, Mitteltal, Obertal, Röt-Schönegründ, Schwarzenberg and Tonbach as well as several other localities and hamlets.
