The entrance is preceded by a large portico, supported by square-based columns, with a trussed roof. The small bell gable has only one bell. The only internal hall is decorated with frescoes dating back to the fifteenth century, executed in the style of Pietro Alemanno and Panfilo da Spoleto. The back wall contains paintings of intense expressiveness, such as: the Annunciation with the Archangel Gabriel, the fresco of the Blessing Father Eternal and the Triumph of the Madonna and Child. In the highest area of the wall there is an Agnus Dei. The peculiarity of this building is the reference to the Marche tradition of dedicating churches to the Madonna della Neve, a circumstance that links it to other similar realities built in the nearby Abruzzo. The votive shrines or chapels were usually elevated near the neviere, that is places where it was collected and stored in the snow to make it usable for use by the communities, such as for the preservation of food.
