Gerabronn is a small town on the Hohenloher level.

The town of Gerabronn was owned by the Counts of Hohenlohe for several centuries from 1234. In 1810 it came to Württemberg and was at times an administrative city. Since 1972 it has belonged to the district of Schwäbisch Hall with the incorporated districts of Amlishagen, Dünsbach and Michelbach an der Heide.

The former railway line between Langenburg and Blaufelden has been closed, the next train station is in Blaufelden, regional trains of the Tauberbahn stop here Wertheim and Crailsheim wrong.

Gerabronn is on the L1033 between Langenburg and Rot am See. To the one to the south A6 it is about 15 km (junctions Symbol: AS 44 Wolpertshausen or Symbol: AS 45 Ilshofen). To A7Symbol: AS 109 Rothenburg is approx. 30 km.
