Markgrafneusiedl is a community in Marchfeld.
background
The economy of the community and the surrounding area is characterized not only by agriculture but also by numerous gravel pits. On some of these gravel pits there is supposed to be an artificial mountain that Marchfeldkogel are piled up with excavation and rubble; a controversial project.

- From Angern on the March (Ferry to the Slovakia) via Gänserndorf and the L11.

Kerphenhof
- 1 Parish Church of the Assumption and rectory : Gothic church building, baroque
- 2 Church ruin St. Martin : Fortified church built at the end of the 12th century at a dominant altitude. Documented ruins since 1683. Command center during the Napoleonic Wars, from 1817 windmill; Burned down in 1862.
- 3 Kerphenhof : Mighty two-storey building from the 17th century with a medieval core
- 4 Historical-Archaeological Museum, Museumstrasse 1. Tel.: 43 (0)664 1119007, Email: [email protected]. Archaeological exhibits on 130 m² in a former press house and on an open-air site.Open: Open May to October by appointment only.
