Sokolov is on the railway line Cheb-Usti nad Labem. Cheb can be reached almost every hour by regional or express trains. Likewise are without change Decin, Carlsbad and Marienbad to reach. There is a train from Sokolov every hour Kraslice across the border to Germany into the Zwickauer Downtown. Express trains connect the city every two hours Prague. Once a day there is a connection to Slovak Kosice. There are through coaches several times a week Moscow, Minsk and Warsaw.
