Saint Martin in Thurn (Lad .: San Martin de Tor, Italian: San Martino in Badia) is a community in Val Badia in the Dolomites / South-Tirol, Italy

St. Martin is one of the five Ladin communities in the Gadertal (Val Badia).
The factions of the parish are Campill, Pikolein, St. Martin in Thurn and Antermoia.
St. Martin is the seat of Ladin cultural institute "Micurà de Rü", an institution for the preservation and promotion of the Ladin language and culture:

In the street
- The easiest way to access from the north is via the Val Pusteria with branch at St. Lorenzen in the Val Badia and then continue on the Gadertal state road to St.Martin.
- From the west, from the Eisack Valley the journey through the is also over Villnößtal and about that Wurzjoch (2003 m) (closed in winter, also only accessible for light traffic in summer, ban on buses) to St. Martin possible.

Tourist Attractions
- Thurn Castle, above the place. The castle has its beginnings in a residential tower built around 1230, it is documented in 1290 as "turris in Geder" and the center of the court "Thurn an der Gader". The tower was expanded in the following centuries. In 1803 the bishops lose ownership and the castle is bought by farmers, whose descendants are still the owners today.

- The museum opened in 2001 and shows the history and language of the Ladins.
- Bad Valdander. 1,443 m. "Bauernbadl" with medicinal springs, on the way towards Antermoia.
