Brazilian and Portuguese citizens do not need to apply for a visa to enter Thailand. At Bangkok's own international airport (Suvarnabhumi), the traveler will receive a stamp in the passport valid for 3 months. To get this visa, you must present a small form that is normally provided on the plane and is also available just before immigration, this paper must be stapled to your passport until your departure from Thailand as it will be required when leaving the country. The service is free for Brazilians and Portuguese and there is no need for a photo.

Thai cuisine is famous for mixing the four fundamental flavors:

  • sweet (sugar, fruits, sweet peppers)
  • pepper (peppers)
  • sour (vinegar, lime juice, tamarind)
  • salty (soy sauce, fish sauce)

Most dishes in Thai cuisine try to combine most, if not all, of these flavors. This is achieved through the use of herbs, spices and fruits such as pepper, cumin, garlic, ginger, basil, lime, lemongrass, tamarind, coriander, black pepper, various chillies, turmeric and shallot.

One of the most famous electronic music parties in the world takes place once a month on the island of Ko Pha Ngan, located in southern Thailand. It is the Full Moon Party (Full Moon Party), which takes place every full moon night on Haadrin Beach and brings together thousands of tourists, mainly Europeans. If you're planning a trip to Thailand, it's worth taking a look at the calendar and checking when the next full moon will be.

Thailand is a beautiful country, full of ancient culture and traditions and its people are proud of their hospitality. Despite being a tropical country, where in summer the highest temperatures are recorded (and what temperatures!), people remain calm, smiling, affable, trying to please the visitors who circulate there.

The streets are scrupulously cleaned by young sweepers, in uniform, their faces protected from dust by a kind of veil, gloves and equipped with ecologically correct brooms, that is, similar to our little button broom. Hanging from the shoulder, a flat, braided basket, where some small finds are transferred.

In Bangkok, there are numerous taxi companies, each one identified by the color of their vehicles, always very showy, clean and shiny. It's a pleasure to see. Another means of transport, widely used by the population is the Tuk-Tuk, an adapted tricycle, which, in addition to the driver - who usually does not speak English, carries four passengers. A basic, curious and extremely cheap transport.

Its great religiosity is demonstrated by the numerous shrines, reverent figures and temples dedicated to their deities, spread throughout the city. Along the rivers, almost every dwelling has a representation of its own spiritual being, a home-protecting entity, amenable to devotion. The existence of prayer spaces, located always in front of riverside residences, with varied decoration is frequent.

The Chao Phia Hospital, in Bangkok, makes available an ambulance boat to the populations on the river, which remains on standby, to attend to urgent and emergency events.

There is also a bank-boat, circulating along the Chao Praya, to serve the population.

Beautiful orchids native to Thailand, bloom in all corners of the capital, enchanting tourists and beautifying it even more. Thais are proud of their beautifully flowered city and strive to maintain it as such. For the King's birthday celebrations, the whole city is decked out. Photos of the sovereign, in his different stages of life, are displayed. Loved and revered by his subjects, he turned Thailand into one of the biggest tourist hubs in the world.
