The Brettljause made of sausage, cheese, pickles, etc. served on a snack board is gaining more and more friends and is also seen in the sense of sustainable regional production. In general, gastronomy and retail are increasingly focusing on regional products. Whoever wants to know more should visit the initiative's website Upper Austria, a land of pleasure look at. The Linzer Torte is of course world-famous. If you like must is right here. You can find it much more often here in the bar or on sale than in the rest of the country (with the exception of the Mostvirtel). The peaks are of course colder - at an altitude of 2000 meters the average annual temperature is around one degree Celsius. In July and August it can get really hot in the region.
