Tourist Attractions

  • Parish Church of St. Laurentius. A first church is mentioned as early as 1394, the current church building was built between 1733 - 1736 and decorated inside by well-known artists from the region in the baroque style.
  • 1 Guild Church of St. Joseph: the only guild church in Austria, built between 1710 and 1718 by Johann Jakob Herkommer from Füssen, baroque interior.
Location: at the southern end of the village on the road to Berwang.

There is one on site below the guild church Sports and leisure park with a swimming lake, children's rafting facility, mini golf and beach volleyball, climbing facility and rafting.

In the winter

The next ski areas are in Berwang and in Ehrwald with the Zugspitze.

The Skischaukel Berwangertal ski area can be reached directly from the village via the Sonnenbichllift and the Almkopfbahn Bichlbach, even without a car.
