Practical advice

Tourist information: Casa da Cultura

Câmara de Lobos is a social hotspot of Madeira, so you should be particularly attentive away from the busy city districts and avoid isolated areas.

trips

Due to its favorable location on the coastal motorway, all the sights of the island can be easily reached from Câmara de Lobos beyond the destinations in the vicinity (see above). In the case of residential areas in the hinterland, however, a time surcharge of 30 minutes per arrival / departure should be taken into account.

The remote and yet very attractive valley basin belonging to the municipality Curral das Freiras can only be from Funchal reach out.
