The Canary Islands[1] are an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean off the southern Moroccan coast. Politically and culturally, they are an integral part of Spain. Geographically, on the other hand, they should be counted as part of the African continent and, more specifically, considered as an extension of the Atlas Mountains.

Those looking for pleasant weather in spring, autumn or even winter should not forget these islands. on Tenerife, especially in the southwest (Playa de las Americas) the weather is good almost all year round (an average temperature of about 19°C with little precipitation), on the mountain flanks it is significantly cooler, so pay attention.
