What to do

At the table

Of fundamental importance is the traditional swordfish fishing, symbol of the Reggio coast but above all of the Costa Viola; here, in fact, for centuries fishing has been practiced with traditional boats made up of high towers for sighting and chasing big fish and long walkways that allow you to catch swordfish, the first ingredient of one of the finest Calabrian dishes .

Safety

Crimes against tourists are not frequent, while it is easy to receive a fine in the coastal area of Palmi in the summer months if the car is parked outside the paid parking lots or areas where parking is allowed (the risk increases , in particular, if the car is parked in a double row or inside the marina).
