How to get

By plane

The area is served by the airport of Reggio Calabria and from the airport of Lamezia Terme

By car

The coast is crossed entirely by the SS106 and is served by the Ionian-Tyrrhenian SGC which intersects with the A3 near Rosarno.

On the train

The territory is crossed by the Ionian Railway, which allows direct connection with trains coming from Taranto (some pairs of ICs), Reggio Calabria is Catanzaro (regional trains); the connections are however few and based on diesel vehicles (the line is not electrified and the financing of the electrification works already planned is not foreseen at the moment).

By bus

There are numerous private companies that stop in the cities of the coast, thus compensating for the shortcomings of the railway network; Ferrovie della Calabria connects some locations with Gioia Tauro via a few pairs of buses that cross the Plain of Gioia Tauro and theAspromonte.
