The administrative seat of the association is in Dahn Dahn rock country, other sub-communities include Bruchweiler-Bärenbach, Erftweiler and Fischbach bei Dahn. The city is the starting point for many Hiking trails of the Palatinate Forest Association. This cross-border sub-landscape of the Palatinate Forest is also known as Wasgau designated.
