Geographical notes
Geographically it is located in the south of Sweden and borders on the north Svealand, through the forests of Tiveden, Tylöskog and Kolmådren which form the border.
Background
Götaland once consisted of small kingdoms, whose inhabitants were called Gutar in ancient Norse today also called Gotlandi. Historians claim that from them come the Geats (those who remained in Götaland, famous in Beowulf's work) and the Goths (those who emigrated from Götaland), one of the main Germanic tribes that invaded Europe at the end and after the empire.
