Pruchnik is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Subcarpathian in the Dynów Mountains at the Mleczka. The city lies in the historical border area between Lesser Poland and the Red castles on the medieval trade route Via Regia of Krakow to Kiev. It is eponymous for the Przeworskier culture, whose finds were excavated nearby.
