Adelebsen is a spot in the south Lower Saxony.
background
The Lords of Wibbecke built a rock castle on the sandstone rock above the village, which was first mentioned in a document in 990. The castle residents gave themselves the name later by Adelebsen, which also passed over to the place. To this day, the castle and the castle complex, which is located on a sandstone rock high above the Schwülme, is the dominant feature of the place in the Schwülmetal from afar.
