On the Weser cycle path is about 30 km from Hann. Münden to Lippoldsberg, a further 12 km Bad Karlshafen.

On foot
A variant of the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage route of Uslar coming through the Schwülmetal to Lippoldsberg and further up the Weser Oedelsheim to the Bursfelde Monastery.
