There are four different circular hiking trails around the southern district of Neuhof (including a nature trail), all of which lead through the flat karst area.
In the core town of Bad Sachsa there are ten different terrain health trails starting from the Vitalpark, with distances between one and 9.8 kilometers. These start at a large display board at the entrance to the Vital Park and are geared towards conscious enjoyment of Bad Sachsa's mild healing climate.
On the 659 meter high Ravensberg there is a 45-minute panoramic circular hiking trail.
