- Catholic parish church of St. Heinrich and Kunigunde
- The church St. Michael in Mainroth is mentioned for the first time in a document in 1308. It was restored around 1680 after the destruction in the Thirty Years' War; it was given its present form in 1744/45.
- The old church in the district of Kirchlein was demolished in 1905/1906 and today's Catholic church was rebuilt.

Camper
The level, graveled parking space is directly adjacent to the historic old town and offers plenty of space for 2 mobile homes. Located on the fairground with a children's playground next to the soccer field, it is very easy to reach from the B 289, but it is still quiet. - Weismain (5 km south) - small town and state-approved resort on the northern edge of Franconian Switzerland. Parish church of St. Martin and typical Franconian city gate; out of town in the direction of Stadelhofen the Kleinziegenfelder valley.
- Kronach (14 km north, from Hummenberg B 173) - district town and most important town on the railway line from Lichtenfels to Saalfeld in Thuringia; Veste Rosenberg.
- Lichtenfels (15 km to the west, B 289) - the town of the Korbmacher is a railway junction; Old town with city palace.
- Kulmbach (17 km to the east, B 289) - the brewery town of Kulmbach is the next larger town next to Kronach. The Plassenburg towers above Kulmbach, including a tin figure museum.
