Hallerndorf is a city in the district Forchheim in the Bavarian administrative district Upper Franconia in the Aischgrund

Hallerndorf is widely known for that Kreuzberg. There is a pilgrimage church on a wooded hilltop and at the foot of the church there is a huge beer garden operated by three different breweries, a paradise for beer drinkers.

In the street
Hallerndorf is on the motorway 
Bamberg - Nuremberg without own exit. There are the exits 
Hirschaid, Buttenheim and Forchheim North, then continue on country roads.
By train and bus
The next train stations are in Hirschaid, Buttenheim, Eggolsheim and Forchheim, then continue by bus.
Bus 265 leaves from Forcheim. There is an on-call bus from Eggolsheim, which only runs after registration the day before from 7:00 p.m. on Tel. 49 (0) 9191 861411

The VGN Leisure line 265 - Hallerndorfer-Keller-Express From May 1st to November 1st on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from the train station in Forchheim via Buckenhofen, Pautzfeld, Neuses, Schlammersdorf, Trailsdorf, Hallerndorf, Schnaid, Stiebarlimbach, Willersdorf to Hallerndorf and back to Forchheim. - The Kreuzberg Church was built in 1463 in a Gothic style on the site of a previous pilgrimage chapel by the Lords of Seckendorff. The interior of the church is designed in late baroque style around 1730 - 1738, the baroque altars are by Franz Anton Thomas. to visit. You can register for guided tours in and around the Kreuzbergkirche at any time at the Maria Himmelfahrt parish office in Pautzfeld.

- The 3rd Sunday in October is Parish fair in Hallerndorf. A big tree decorated with ribbons and a spruce wreath is set up by the Kerwasboys and there is a pray dance on Monday evening.

On the Kreuzberg near Hallerndorf in the middle of the forest, below the medieval pilgrimage church, three breweries invite you to eat and drink. You have to walk a few steps from the parking lot to the first beer.
