Pinzberg is a municipality in the district Forchheim in the Bavarian administrative district Upper Franconia in the Southern Franconian Switzerland

In the street
On the highway 
Nürnberg - Bamberg leave the autobahn at the Forchheim Süd exit, then direction Pretzfeld drive and after approx. 2 km turn right in the S-curve, up the mountain and right at the T-junction.
By train
The 1 Pinzberg stop lies outside the village and you have to walk at least one kilometer to get into the village. The 2 Gosberg stop is located directly in the district of Gosberg. Both stops are on the route from Forchheim to Ebermannstadt.
Local public transport in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region is operated by the Greater Nuremberg Transport Association VGN operated. It is possible to use different means of transport with one ticket, such as bus, train, S-Bahn or U-Bahn. The tickets can be purchased online or via an app.

Tourist Attractions
- The parish church St. Nicholas was first mentioned in 1371 as a chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas. The late medieval construction of the church with defensive walls surrounded by the cemetery was carried out in 1730 under the supervision of Balthasar Neumann newly designed.
- On the southern outskirts, on the road to Effeltrich, is the Lady Chapel (1869). It owes its establishment in 1867 to a foundation made up of wealthy, single siblings.
- The Anna Chapel from 1847 stands next to the Marienkapelle on the so-called Lohranger
- The branch church Holy Trinity from 1717 is on the main street in the district of Gosberg
- The branch church Holy Family in the district of Dobenreuth
- The chapel St. Joseph in the Elsenberg district
- The half-timbered house Old Forge on the main street
- The Well away with half-timbering opposite the old forge
- The Ruhstein at the beginning of the wedge well.

The complete Franconian Switzerland is a wonderful excursion area with many possibilities. If you are drawn to the city, you are in a good half an hour's drive Nuremberg or in Bamberg. The old imperial city Forchheim is only about 15 minutes away.
