The nearest train station in Pegnitz is about 20 km away. He's on the line Nuremberg - Bayreuth. From there the bus (VGN line 389) goes to several stops in the municipality. On weekends between Whitsun and October 3, the bus runs every hour.

- The Balthasar Neumann circular hiking trail is 3 km long, with 5 information boards, duration approx. 2 hours, with visits correspondingly longer. The path leads on narrow paths and back roads around the village with many viewpoints.

The 16 km long railway line from Ebermannstadt above Muggendorf after Behringersmühle was from "Steam Railway Franconian Switzerland e.V."accepted.
