Maria Alm at the Stone Sea is a community in Pinzgau, the southwestern region of the state Salzburg. The community is east of Saalfelden between the mountain ranges of the Stony sea and the Pinzgau grass mountains.

Alpine skiing

Maria Alm belongs to Hochkönig ski region with 33 lifts and around 150 kilometers of slopes. If that's not enough, you can use the ski pass Ski amadé can also leave its mark in four other regions. The Maria Alm lifts belong to the municipality of Maria Alm Aberg (1900 m), at the Gabühel (1730 m), at the Natrun (1200 m) and on Hinterreit (1000 m). The expansion of the Dienten ski center, the new Sinalco cable car and the 6-seater Bürglalm chairlift make it possible to ski down the entire Hochkönig region in one day.
