By plane
- The nearest airport is 94 km away: Milan-Malpensa Airport. From Terminal 1, the Malpensa Express goes to Como Lago railway station with change at Saronno.
- Another possible airport is theMilan-Linate airport. it is 108 km away, with bus connections to Milan's main railway station, Milano Centrale, and then by train.
- 130 km away fromBergamo-Orio al Serio Airport. From here you can rent a car and reach Menaggio in about two hours, or take the bus to Milan Central Station and then continue by train.
- There is also the possibility of the smallest Lugano-Agno Airport.
By car
- Coming from the north via the exit Lugano North, then 35 kilometers in about 1 hour to Ossuccio. From the exit follow the signs for St. Moritz / Gandria up to the Gandria border crossing and then continue in the direction Porlezza.
- Coming from the south via the Como Nord exit and then 25 kilometers along Lake Como.
There is a ferry connection to Como and the opposite shore.
On the train
- The railway station of Lugano it is the nearest train station. From the central bus stop Campo Marzio in Lugano, buses of the Italian line C12 connect Ossuccio several times a day. You should take a taxi to get from the train station to the bus stop.
- Central Station of Milan, towards noise at the train station of Como San Giovanni, and then at the bus station continue with the C10 line up to Menaggio, or from the jetty of the Como Lago train station with the most timetables daily hydrofoils continue to Ossuccio.

- Alpe Boffalora. The approach is a bit complicated. Drive in the direction of Como up to Argegno. Here you turn right towards San Fedele Intelvi. In the center of S. Fedele then turn right and at the roundabout keep left and then right towards Pigra. From Pigra follow the road towards the Boffalora Refuge. Cross the Alpe di Colonno to Alpe Boffalora.
