L'Bergamo-Orio al Serio airport (Il Caravaggio International Airport; IATA: BGY) is an Italian airport located in the municipality of Orio al Serio, 5 km away from the center of Bergamo and 50 km from the center of Milan. It is the third Italian airport for the number of passengers.

Together withMilan-Malpensa Airport and toMilan-Linate airport forms the Milanese airport system of over 49 million passengers per year (2019) (the second in Italy after the Roman system). On 23 March 2011 it was officially named after the famous painter Michelangelo Merisi, known as Il Caravaggio.
Flights
The airport is mainly used by low-cost airlines for which it is the first in Italy for number of passengers and for the British specialized research company Skytrax it is among the 10 best low-cost airports in the world. At the airport there is also the Ryanair hangar, dressed with the Italian flag.

- Food and beverage vending machines. Two distributors are present in the departures area, on the ground floor (after the security checks and just before the checks for non-Schengen flights). The prices are quite cheap when compared to those of the shops.
- Dufry. Large shop where you can buy both food and non-food products such as perfumes, creams and newspapers. To take advantage of the tax relief, the shop has some counters in the non-Schengen departures area (after the border police checks).
