Seeburg is a resort in southern Lower Saxony in Subfield. The place is located on the lake of the same name approx. 20 km east of Goettingen.

- 1 Seeburger See nature reserve. The 0.865 km² lake is also known as the "Eye of the Eichsfeld" and is the largest natural lake in southern Lower Saxony. Numerous species of breeding birds (including the little grebe, gadfly, teal, grackle, tufted shoveler, coot, lapwing) have settled on the wet meadows and bodies of water, and the area now offers two pairs of white storks, which have been adopted again and again In addition to the stork pair breeding in the village of Seeburg and the storks in Gieboldehausen, there is now a considerable increase in the stork population in the sub-area. - 5 Lutteranger bird sanctuary. The Lutteranger is the oldest part of the above-mentioned nature reserve and can be reached quickly in just a few minutes from the circular hiking trail around the lake with a detour from the footpath on the road to Bernshausen. The former peat cutting area was first reforested, but re-wetted from 1989 and today, with the numerous dead tree stumps in the wetland, offers an interesting backdrop for bird watching.
