security

Somalia is an extremely unsafe country. Currently (03/14) the Foreign Office is warning against travel and all Germans are being asked to leave the country. The German representation in Somalia is closed. The responsible agency is in Nairobi.
Tourist trips to Somalia (with the exception of Somaliland) are currently not possible. Anyone who has to travel to Mogadishu for professional reasons should inquire in detail with their local partner about security measures.
