Terespol is a city in the polish Voivodeship Lublin on the border to Belarus on on Bug. The city is located in the historical region Podlaskie in the Brest country. However, it came to the region since the 16th century Polesie and has been counted among them ever since. In Terespol, which is on the opposite bank of the Bow of Brest Litovsk The largest Polish-Belarusian Genz crossings are located, both in road and rail traffic.
