Lubartów is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Lublin at the Wieprz, a tributary of the Vistula. The city is located in the historical region Lesser Poland in the Sandomirer country, later Lubliner-Country on the Lubartów plateau. The place is not far from the Eastern tourist route Via Jagellonica, part of the Via Regia. The place is best known for its late baroque and rococo architecture, especially the Sanguszko Palace and the churches of Paulo Fontana.

Intercity buses run regularly to Lublin and long-distance buses to other cities in the region.
In the street
The road network is being expanded, but it is still relatively thin.
From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Warsaw. There you change to the expressway S17 direction Lublin. It's not far from there.
Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
