Kock (German: Kotzk) is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Lublin at the mouth of the Czarna in the Tyśmienica, a tributary of the Wieprz. The city is located in the historical region Lesser Poland in the Sandomirer country, later Łuków-Country in the The Wieprz glacial valley. During the Reformation the place was an important center of Protestantism in Poland-Lithuania. Several historical battles took place near Kock, including during the Napoleonic Wars in 1809, during the November Uprising in 1831, during the January Uprising in 1863 and during the Polish-Soviet War in 1920. In October 1939 the last battle of the German Polish campaign instead, which the Polish army was able to win but ultimately had to capitulate due to the hopeless overall situation. The place is on the tourist road Path of the Lublin Renaissance and at the Via Jagiellonica.

In the street
The road network is being expanded, but it is still relatively thin.
From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Warsaw. There you change to the expressway S17 direction Lublin. It's not far from there.
Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
