Chiba prefecture

Chiba(Japanese: 千葉 県, Chiba-ken) is a prefecture in the region Kantō, Japan.

Regions

Chiba Prefecture is east of Tokyo. The Bōsō Peninsula in the east of Tokyo Bay forms the southern part of the prefecture, its western part is densely populated. Neighboring prefectures are Tokyo, Saitama and Ibaraki, in the east the Pacific forms the border.
