Chocz (German: Chocz or Lap) is a historic city in the polish Voivodeship Greater Poland on the Richwalder Just at the Prosna, a tributary of the Warta. The city is located in the south of the historical region Greater Poland in the Kalischer country. After the Congress of Vienna, the border between the Russian Empire and Prussia ran through the city. Old landmarks are still preserved.
