Feet is a city in the Ostallgäu (Allgäu). Füssen is known for its picturesque old town and the nearby royal castles Schwangau. Districts from feet are Hops on the lake, Weissensee (Fuessen) and Bad Faulenbach.

Feet
In Roman times originated on the Via Claudia Augusta a military camp on the Schlossberg. The Benedictine monastery was built in the 8th century St. Mang. Füssen received town charter in the 13th century. From 1313 the city belonged to the bishops of Augsburg. In 1803 Füssen came into the possession of the Electors of Bavaria.
Bad Faulenbach
The place is known as a mud and mineral spa. In 1923 Faulenbach was incorporated into Füssen. In 1968 Bad Faulenbach was recognized as a Kneipp spa.

The nearest major international airport is that Munich Airport(IATA: MUC) (Also Franz Josef Strauss, distance 161 km, just under two hours by car). The top target are Royal castles in the near Schwangau:

All around Füssen there are many smaller and larger lakes that are worth a trip:
- The Forggensee, a reservoir, is located in the north of Füssen am Lech. The lake is suitable for swimming, sailing and windsurfing, but only from June 1st to mid-October. Then he is drained.
