The town Helmbrechts is located in the district of Hof in Upper Franconia and is considered the entrance gate to Franconian Forest. It is the traditional center of the textile industry.

The 4 Eco station offers flora, fauna, underwater observations, children's birthdays and guided tours. Interesting for all ages.
There is one at the sports grounds of FC Wüstenselbitz 5 Mountain bike technique course with elements such as camel humps, banked curves, hill ascents and descents with steps and a rock garden. Use of the course is free of charge.
In Helmbrechts there is a Airfield for glider and motorized pilots. Parking on the southern outskirts. Nice footpath with the possibility of a circular hike either via Ottengrün or Haide back to the car (approx. 1 hour).

Nerve-wracking - there is nothing there. Events in the textile museum and citizen hall are frequent, first class, guaranteed every taste and mostly sold out. Take care of cards in good time!
Insider tip: "Palazzo" the former rifle house. Elaborately renovated in the Italian style by the owner family. Events there top notch. Inquiries because not that often.
