Lichtenberg is a city in Eastern Franconian Forest at the border after Thuringia. The city towers over the protected nature reserve Hell Valley.

By plane
The closest international airport is the Nuremberg Airport.
The airfield Hof / Plauen is located southwest of court.
By train
Lichtenberg no longer has a direct train connection, but there are still boarding points nearby.
The 1 Höllenthal stop is a demand stop on the Hof – Bad Steben line, which is run every hour by the company agilis is served.
