Legionowo is a city in the polish Voivodeship Mazovia in the Warsaw-Level in the Valley of the Middle Vistula right on the river. The city is located in the historical region Warsaw country in the central part of Mazovia in the Warsaw metropolitan area. The place was laid out as an officers' settlement with villas in the countryside at the gates of Warsaw.
